Regulations
We welcome you as a Guest in our private home. Please note that we do not have a 24-hour front desk, so there may be no one present when you arrive. We kindly ask you to let us know your expected arrival time in advance by calling or messaging us on WhatsApp at 051 1990 1492.
Cancellation Policy
If the Guest cancels the reservation:
• More than seven days before arrival : the amount paid will be refunded, less any costs incurred by us (bank charges and taxes) at the time the payment was collected. These costs vary depending on the type of card and the Guest's country. For non-European cards, excluding American Express, they are currently approximately 2.9% of the amount plus €0.25. NOTE: these conditions may change without notice.
• Seven days or less before arrival : no refund will be issued.
If the B&B is unable to honor the reservation (for example, due to a problem that makes the room or bathroom unusable) and it is not possible to move the Guest to another room, the Guest will receive a full refund and the B&B will cover any bank charges. No additional compensation will be provided.

Entering the City Center by Car
Bologna's city center is closed to non-resident traffic. Guests need a permit issued by the Municipality of Bologna, which costs €6. To obtain it, please send us your license plate number and arrival date at least two working days in advance.
Parking Options
Street parking permit: €9 per day (parking not always available).
Indoor parking at our property: €20 per day.
If our indoor parking space is already occupied, we will accompany you to the garage.
Alternatively, you can park at the APCOA parking garage in Piazza VIII Agosto for €22 per day; no permit is required. View map.
Note : Residenza Palazzo Marchesini assumes no responsibility for damage to or theft of items left in parked cars.
Arrival and Departure Times
Check-in : available from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please let us know your expected arrival time to avoid long waits.
Check-out : by 10:00 a.m. the following day. If there are no new arrivals, you may check out as late as 12:00 noon.
Registration and Documents
At check-in, Guests must present a valid ID (except for children under 14 years old).
Data Processing
The information provided will be processed in accordance with applicable regulations and used exclusively for purposes related to the operation of the B&B. It will not be disclosed to third parties.
Unregistered Guests
Unregistered persons may not enter the B&B without the owner's consent.
Animals
Animals are not allowed.
Breakfast Times
Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., at a time agreed upon the previous day. Requests for different times must be made in advance. Meals may not be consumed outside the agreed times or in the bedrooms.
Prohibitions
Smoking : Smoking is prohibited inside the B&B but is permitted on the terraces.
Temperature : Italian regulations impose restrictions on indoor temperatures. In winter, the temperature cannot exceed 20°C; in summer, it cannot be lower than 25°C.
Entering the kitchen: prohibited.
Diapers and other objects : Do not flush diapers or other objects down the toilet. In the event of a blockage caused by improper use, the cost of clearing the blockage will be charged to the Guest.
Guest Responsibilities
Quiet hours : Please maintain silence from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Behavior : Please respect the peace and quiet of other Guests at all times.
Turn off lights and electrical equipment when leaving the B&B.
Personal belongings : Guests are responsible for looking after their personal belongings. Residenza Palazzo Marchesini is not responsible for their safekeeping.
Security : Always double-lock your door and keep your keys with you.
Lost keys : Lost keys will result in a charge for the replacement of the lock and keys.
